Biyu almost asked which room was his so she could be near but stopped herself just in time. He didn't care about being her friend. She was just going to bother him more if she asked. "I'll just... um..." she looked up... So which room to take then? She then looked down... downstairs is usually where the most noise was, right? Then up again... "I think I'd like the top floor," she gives a soft smile to the boy, resting her eyes finally back on him. "Oh, and ID, right? Well... uuuh I do have my family seal in one of my trunks. That should be, good right? I can get it out for you once we get to my room." As she spoke, her chipper attitude slowly returned. "Which is-" her head shoots upwards once more, towards the stairs, "this way, right?"
She takes a few steps in that direction, heading towards her supposed room, mind racing as she resumed admiring the architecture. "Or... should I show you now?" She pauses, looking back to Yasuchika with her head tilted. "I'm sure I can find it for you now if you want... I'm just not exactly certain which trunk it ended up in," she giggles nervously.

As long as she wasn't a loud sleeper or obnoxious when people were trying to rest they'd have no problems right? Though from the display so far he wasn't so sure.
"Okay, Top Floor Room 3 will be your room," he said, grabbing the key to unlock the room they would be heading too. The top floor only had 3 rooms actually while the others had more. They were usually never full enough to need it but he always offered it just in case someone wanted it. The other two rooms upstairs were occupied by the twins and the old Inn owner naturally.
"Yes, up the stairs, " he said, nodding to her statement. She said something about her family seal as well. "Your family seal will do, and you can just get it out upstairs," he finished, looking at her multitude of bags. No way he was letting her unpack all that stuff in this room to look for it after all. That would just be insane. The blond boy looked over to the man, after all he'd have to help them get the stuff upstairs. "Shall we go?" he questioned, tilting his head as he started towards the stairs... oddly grabbing one... or three of her lighter bags with him. Well... he was actually helpful![/style] |

Biyu follows along behind Yasuchika, nearly skipping while she gave the man helping with the rest of the bags a great smile. "Yup, I'm ready to see my room. I'm thinking maybe I should rest for a little while before I go out and explore the city, don't you think? I tried to just sleep on the way but the roads can be kind of bumpy. I kept waking up whenever I almost drifted off." With bounce in her step, she moves up the stairs without use of the handrail, not at all looking balanced or stable.
"Soooo are lots of other people staying here right now?" It doesn't take long before she is rattling off questions again, "Are any of them my age? How old are you, by the way? I'm thirteen. I had my birthday last winter and Mom and Dad made me have this stuffy fancy party with boring people though at least I got to have my best friend there..." There is a short pause here as she contemplates something. True to the norm, the short pause is very brief. "Anyways, that's beside the point. I um... oh, right, I asked how old you were, didn't I?"

She kept talking and talking and talking like it was her job and she was getting paid by the minute to feed a starving family. Okay maybe he was exaggerating a little bit but he had a headache and was fairly irritable because of it. It was very strange, but then again this was Wu Xing.
"No, there is only one other person staying here besides you and the owner's family," he said as they climbed the stairs to the second floor. It was then that she went on with more questions he'd be forced to answer in order to stay a good host... if that made any sense. The blond looked at her, keeping that faux smile on his face to try and appear friendly at least.
"The only people close to your age here are myself and my brother," he said, looking back to the stairs as they climbed up the second set of stairs leading to the third floor. "I'm 15 this year," he said, answering her question but totally ignoring the part about the fancy party and her friends and family. He really was in no mood to care right now. She'd have better luck with his brother... then again in his best mood the same would probably be true since his brother was so much more friendly than himself.
"You are the room at the end of the hall next to the Owner," he said, speaking quieter than before. "I ask that you speak quietly right now as she is sleeping," he said shuffling in front of the girl and the man carrying things because he had the key on him. He had to make sure the key worked before he gave it to the girl after all... it was policy. The boy shoved the key in the lock, a light click accompanied it as the door swung open. The first two floors had sliding doors but upstairs was different. They had more privacy because of it. This was why the owner and her grandsons lived on this floor. It was also because it was more out of the way so guests usually liked to stay on the other floors.[/style] |

Biyu clamped her mouth shut, determined to be quiet as to not wake up the owner of inn. In response to his request, she nodded quickly, biting the inside of her lip as the boy unlocked the door. "Thank you!" she said in a loud sort of carried whisper, not forgetting her manners. She slid pass them both into her room, bubbling in quiet excitement. "Oh, you can put that one here," she gestures to the floor for the man carrying her bags. "I think it's where I have that paper Yasuchika needed." Once the bag is placed down, she begins to dig through.
Out first came a small box that rattled a bit when she shook it, then several unlined notebooks. She opens each of these quickly, one by one, searching for something inside. Papers stuck out of them, unattached to the rest of the book, doodled lines covering them all. "Ah um... here!" her voice is raised a bit louder than before, but she quickly realizes her folly and shuts her mouth again, covering it with her while stifling a giggle. "Here..." she tries again, handing over the paperwork with her family seal, the drawing covered notebook still wide open, held close to her. "This is good enough, right?"

How much stuff could one girl own!? I mean sure he comes from a rich family with multiple sisters who own houses to use as their closets but that wasn't really the point now was it? Actually it kind of was but it was just strange for him to see someone outside of his crazy sisters that had the same problem... shopoholism. Yes that was a real... made up word he came up with for them.
She handed him her family seal, it was pretty actually. It was very official, like her family had to be at least moderately well off to have a seal this nice. It wasn't that surprising given how much stuff she had. She did have quite a lot for staying here... though she did say she was staying here for a while so it shouldn't be to surprising she'd bring a lot of stuff. This could be all she owned after all.
"Yes, this is good," he said handing it back to her. The man carried to last box up with her crap stuff in it. The blond boy looked at the female, "If there is anything else you need help with don't be afraid to ask." He looked towards the bar worker, nodding to him as he started to try and leave the room. After all he was still technically working and while no one really was coming anywhere he kind of wanted to ditch the annoying girl. No offense to her he was just in a bad mood. [/style] |

Biyu took the seal, placing it neatly back in its place between the pages of her sketchbook. She was glad that he accepted it... having to find another inn to stay out would have been a bit much after her long journey. Though she supposed she could have just paid upfront. Her thought process is interrupted when Yasuchika speaks again and moves away towards the door... he was going to leave, wasn't he? Then she'd be all alone in this strange place without anything to do and... "Well um," he had just stepped through the door when she finally spoke up. "I mean, it's nothing. I just wanted to ask... if you're free later. If you want to do something." She speaks (relatively) slowly, smiling tentatively. "Maybe I could meet your friends? Or maybe your brother? I don't know anyone else here yet so I'd really really appreciate it." Because now that it came to it, she was feeling nervous about her whole adventure, and this boy's not entirely warm welcome wasn't helping. Not that he had been terrible. She just... still had that feeling that he wanted her to go away and sit quietly.

He looked at the girl with a blank stare on his face. It was a solid minute before he responded to her.
She had handed him her family seal that was very official, like her family had to be at least moderately well off to have a seal this nice. So why after the transaction with the seal did she keep talking and act like they were good friends? She was a weird one all right.
"Yes, if you like I can have my brother show you around town," he said handling her the best he could. The man had already carried to last box up with her crap stuff in it and went back downstairs to work. The blond boy looked at the female and said again, "If there is anything else you need help with don't be afraid to ask." He looked towards the door, nodding to the girl as he started to try and leave the room again. "Ummm..." He was stepping away again. She had meant for him to show her around, of course, but it was best she just let the boy go before she annoyed him further. "Um, okay," she grinned. "Thanks for everything! And uh..." she paused here for a moment, choosing her words carefully. She really really didn't want to ruin her chances of being his friend any further. "Sorry," Her smile continues, though its harder to keep it from looking too forced, "for being a bother. And talking so much. I've stopped you from getting back to work, haven't I?" More nervous giggling ensued as she realized her little speech was delaying him further. "So uh... bye." She ends it quickly, snapping her mouth shut and biting her lower lip to keep it that way. She nodded, spun around on one foot to face away from him, and began sorting through the rest of her art supplies.
